1. OUR PROMISE, IN SHORT

 

This Privacy Policy explains how The Rocket Shaman Leadership Academy LLC, doing business as Simon Lüthi ("we," "us" or "our"), handles your personal information when you visit simonluthi.com, take our private drinking check, book a call or work with us as a coaching client.

 

- We collect only what we need to coach you and run our business.

- We never sell your information, and we never share it for advertising.

- Your drink tracking, lab results and wearable data stay on their own platforms. You decide what to show us.

- We do not tell your employer, team or family anything without your written permission.

- You can ask to see or delete your information at any time.

 

 

2. WHAT WE COLLECT AND WHY

 

Contact details

What: Name, email, phone.

Why: To reply to you, schedule calls and send your check result.

Private drinking check answers

What: Your answers and your result.

Why: To send your result and see if coaching may fit you.

Booking details

What: Call time, time zone, answers to booking questions.

Why: To schedule and run your calls.

Payment details

What: Amount paid, date, billing name.

Why: To take payment and keep tax records. Wix processes your card. We never see or store your full card number.

Coaching notes

What: Brief notes on your goals and progress.

Why: To coach you well from session to session.

Emails and messages

What: What you write to us.

Why: To answer you and support your coaching.

Website usage

What: Browser type, pages visited, general location.

Why: To keep the site working and understand which pages help people.

 

We use your email address to send your check result and a short weekly note. You can unsubscribe at any time with the link in every email. We do not use your information to make automated decisions about you, and we do not build advertising profiles.

 

 

3. YOUR HEALTH INFORMATION

 

Health information includes your drinking check answers, anything you tell us about your drinking, sleep or health, and any tracking data or lab results you choose to show us. We treat all of it as sensitive.

 

Drink tracking (Choose Your Horizon or other provider you choose). Your drink tracking lives on the Choose Your Horizon platform or any other platform you chose, under their own privacy policy. We do not have access to it. We see it only if you choose to share it with us, and you can stop sharing at any time.

 

Lab results and wearables (Function, Oura, Apple Watch and others). These stay in your own accounts. You may choose to show us your results during a session. We do not connect to these accounts, download your data or keep copies. If you email us a screenshot or report, we delete it from our email within [30] days.

 

Our medical partner. Your prescribing clinician is part of a separate business with its own privacy policy. We share information with them only with your written permission, and only what you allow. 

 

How we use it. We use your health information only to coach you. We never sell it, never use it for advertising, and never share it with your employer.

 

Your consent. We collect health information only with your consent. You give it when you take the drinking check or share information with us during coaching. You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing us, and we will delete what we hold, except records the law requires us to keep.

 

 

4. WHO HELPS US RUN THE BUSINESS

 

We use a small number of trusted companies to run our website, scheduling, email and payments. They may process your information only to provide their service to us.

 

- Wix: hosts our website, runs our forms, and processes payments.

- Calendly: schedules calls and sends reminders.

- Google (Workspace): email and business documents.

- Microsoft 365: email and business documents.

- Google Analytics: counts visits and shows which pages are most useful.

- YouTube: plays videos on our website.

- Google Fonts: displays the fonts on our website.

- Meta (Facebook): Like and Share buttons on some pages.

 

We may also share information when the law requires it, or to protect someone from serious and immediate harm. See section 5 of our Terms and Conditions for the full list of limits.

 

If we ever sell or transfer our business, your information would stay protected under this policy, and we would tell you first.

 

Cookies. Cookies are small text files your browser stores. We use them to keep the site working, remember your choices and count visitors. Some are deleted when you close your browser. Others stay until you delete them, so the site can recognize your browser next time. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though some parts of the site may not work as well.

 

Analytics. We use Google Analytics to see how many people visit and which pages help them. Google receives information such as your IP address and the pages you view, and may store it in the U.S. We have turned on settings that limit what Google receives. You can opt out with Google's free browser add-on: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout

 

Videos, fonts and social buttons. When a page shows a YouTube video, loads our fonts or displays a Facebook button, your browser connects to that company's servers. They learn your IP address and which page you visited. If you are logged in to YouTube or Facebook, they may link the visit to your account, so log out first if you prefer. We use YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode, which does not set YouTube cookies until you press play. Each company handles this data under its own privacy policy.

 

No advertising trackers on health pages. We do not place advertising trackers or social media buttons, such as the Meta Pixel, Google Ads tags or Facebook Like buttons, on our drinking check or its results page. We do not share your health information with advertising platforms.

 

 

5. KEEPING, PROTECTING AND DELETING YOUR INFORMATION

 

How long we keep it.

 

- Drinking check answers from people who don't become clients: [12] months, then deleted.

- Coaching notes: for the length of your program plus [2] years, then deleted.

- Screenshots or reports you email us: deleted within [30] days.

- Payment and tax records: as long as tax law requires, usually 7 years.

 

How we protect it. Our website uses SSL/TLS encryption (you will see "https" and a lock icon in your browser), so what you send through our forms is protected on its way to us. We use password-protected accounts with two-step login, limit access to Simon Lüthi, and keep as little as we can. No system is perfectly secure. If a data breach affects you, we will tell you as the law requires.

 

Your choices and rights. Wherever you live, you can ask us to:

 

- Tell you what information we hold about you, where it came from, who we shared it with and why, and send you a copy in a common digital format, or send it to another provider where we can.

- Correct anything that is wrong.

- Delete your information.

- Stop sending you emails.

- Withdraw your consent for us to use your health information.

 

Email simon@simonluthi.com with your request. We will answer within 30 days. We may ask you to confirm your identity first. We will never charge you or treat you differently for making a request. If we cannot fully meet a request (for example, tax records we must keep), we will explain why. Some states give you the right to appeal our decision. You can do this by replying to our answer.

 

 

6. OTHER IMPORTANT POINTS

 

Adults only. Our website and Services are for adults aged 21 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone younger. If we learn we have, we will delete it.

 

Visitors outside the U.S. We are based in the United States, and your information is stored in the U.S. by the companies listed in section 4. If you live elsewhere, your local laws may give you extra rights. Email us and we will honor them.

 

If you live in the EU, UK or Switzerland. European and Swiss data protection laws (GDPR, UK GDPR and the Swiss Data Protection Act) give you the rights in section 5, plus the right to object to how we use your information and to ask us to limit it. We rely on these legal grounds:

 

- Your consent for the drinking check, your health information, our emails and non-essential cookies. You can withdraw it at any time. Withdrawing does not affect what we did before.

- Our contract with you to deliver coaching, schedule sessions and take payment.

- Our legitimate interest in running a secure, working website and understanding how it is used.

- Legal duties, such as keeping tax records.

 

When we or our service providers move your information to the U.S., we rely on safeguards such as the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses. You also have the right to complain to the data protection authority where you live.

 

Changes to this policy. If we change this policy, we will update the date below. If a change affects how we use your health information, we will ask for your consent first.
